Central API reference
The endpoints the plugin uses to talk to smmkit.app. Useful if you are building a custom integration.
The plugin talks to smmkit.app/api/v1/* using a short-lived JWT minted by POST /api/v1/auth/token. You normally never need to call these endpoints directly — the plugin handles the full lifecycle — but they are documented here in case you are writing your own integration.
POST /api/v1/auth/token
Body: { licenseKey }. Returns a 1-hour JWT that authenticates subsequent requests via Authorization: Bearer. Call this at most once per hour — the plugin caches the result in a WP transient.
POST /api/v1/scan-profile
Body: { platform, handle, variant?, cursor?, siteId? }. Returns the profile data in data.body plus quota headers. This is the main entry point for the multi-post selector.
POST /api/v1/load-more-posts
Same as scan-profile but cursor is required. Used by the "Load more" button after the first page of posts is loaded.
POST /api/v1/validate-link and POST /api/v1/validate-post
Single-URL validation used by the simple and preview frontend modes. Returns { valid: true, body: <raw> }.
Error envelope
Every endpoint returns { ok: boolean, data | error: { code, message } }. Error codes are stable and documented — the plugin maps them to friendly messages in friendly_error_for_code().
